Skin Lesions
We are able to treat all type of skin lesions under local anaesthesia at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic.
These may be classed as the following:
- Moles
- Skin Tags
- Spider Naevi
- Lypomas
- Warts
- Age Spot
- Sebaceous Cysts
Many skin lesions are quite benign and the diagnosis fairly obvious. In this situation we can remove them by simple excision under local anaesthesia.
Where there is any doubt about the diagnosis, then the skin lesion is always excised and sent to the laboratory for histological examination.
We are normally able to remove all of these skin lesions with minimal visible scarring. Sutures are removed after 7 days.
