Gynaecomastia
Gynaecomastia is an embarrassing phenomenon for men because it gives the appearance of female breasts formation.
The tissue causing this problem is always a mixture of fibrous, glandular and fatty tissue. Where fatty tissue predominates we can remove this by Advanced Laser Lipolysis to obtain excellent results.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic. In the vast majority of cases there is an instant and quite dramatic difference and the chest is flat immediately.
We normally advise patients to avoid any strenuous upper body exertion for one week but after the first week, if there is not excessive swelling, normal exercise can be resumed and in fact we encourage this as it helps to get a better result more quickly.
