Face, Neck Lifting

Rhytidectomy

With advancing age the facial skin becomes too big! This is the result of gradual loss of elasticity so that the skin begins to sag. The appearance therefore is of sagging jowls with loose skin under the chin and around the neck.

This operation is normally performed under general anaesthesia and requires a minimum one night in hospital.

This operation can also be combined with eyelid surgery called Blepharoplasty.

Results can be very dramatic and have a significant rejuvenating effect taking years off the apparent age of the patient.
