This is the latest and most innovative treatment to be introduced by Q Med who have a long experience in providing fillers for use in Cosmetic Surgery. The substance that they use is known as NASHA which is an acronym for Non Animal Stabilised Hyaluronic Acid.
NASHA is available in various particle sizes. The smallest particles are used in very fine lines.

MACROLANE is a form of NASHA which is of a larger particle size designed for use in the body. We can use it in all parts of the body but most commonly in the female breasts or buttocks.

Less invasive than surgery Macrolane treatment restores volume simply and safely. It is an out-patient procedure that can be performed in one visit without a hospital stay. During the treatment the NASHA gel is injected with a special needle deep under the skin to add volume and support, leaving no unsightly scars.

The Gel used is a man-made version of the substance your body produces to fill out skin tone and lubricate joints. Because of this your body will naturally biodegrade the gel over time. The process is very gradual and is not noticeable on a day-to-day basis. Macrolane was formulated to provide noticeable results that last at least a year. Of course results may vary for each individual. The results are instant and amazing.

For the breast we usually start with a volume of 100ml in each side which usually gives an increase of 1 cup size. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and takes about 30 minutes.
