LIP ENHANCEMENT

Full lips in the female are attractive and sensual; however the lips can decrease in size with advancing age. Increasing the fullness of the lips can have a marked rejuvenating effect.

There are a number of different products that can be used to increase the size of the lips by simple injection. We only use those that we are confident are 100% safe and effective.

RESTYLANE LIPP

This is a form of Hyaluronic Acid produced by Q Med.
Hyaluronic acid is a molocule that is very similar to the Collagen molecule. Collagen is the protein that your skin is made of.
Restylne Lipp is specifically designed for use in the lip and gives excellent aesthetic results.

JUVEDERM

This is also a form of Hyaluronic Acid and is probably the longest lasting of the fillers we use for this purpose.
The product is manufactured by Allergan and again gives superb aesthetic results.

ZYPLAST

“Zyplast” Collagen is a tried and tested method of producing a pout which makes the lips look bigger. This is sometimes known as the Paris Lip.

Zyplast and Zyderm are Bovine Collagen. As mentioned before Collagen is the protein that the skin is made up of. Because it is an animal product it is necessary to do an allergy test 28 days before treatment. A small dose of collagen is injected into the arm. If there is no reaction we are able to use the product.

All of these methods give very good results, although their effect is temporary.

AQUAMID is a permanent filler that gives excellent results in the lip. We are particularly pleased with our experience with this product. We always encourage our patients to start with a more short term product such as Zyplast, Juvederm or Perlane to ensure that they are happy with the result before progressing to a more long term solution.
