CHIN AUGMENTATION

Often people refer to a “weak chin”. For some it is aesthetically undesirable but it is relatively easy to correct.

A number of different types of implant can be used, but we most commonly use a silicone implant. The incision is made inside the mouth so that there are no visible scars. It is a simple procedure and can be performed either under local or general anaesthesia, although swelling and bruising can last for a few days.

An alternative treatment that may be preferable is to use an Injectable Filler. This could either be temporary or permanent.
