AQUAMID

Aquamid is a non re-absorbable, lasting product for facial correction. Research has shown that the gel will stay in its place unchanged for at least 10 years and there is no reason to expect any changes after this period. The usual ageing of the skin will continue unfortunately but extra Aquamid can be injected as and when necessary.

Aquamid can be used to treat wrinkles (glabellar frowns, nasal labial folds, depressed corners of the mouth), lip augmentation, correction of acne scars, augmentation of chin, forehead or cheekbones, augmentation of depressed cheeks and other facial corrections.

Aquamid is injected under the skin as a soft filling with a fine needle. The procedure is quick, needs neither hospitalisation or general anaesthetic and you can return to normal activities in a couple of hours.
