Botox

Botox is a non-surgical treatment used to treat fine lines and wrinkles. It is used in the medical industry to treat a range of conditions and is FDA approved. It is also used to treat excessive sweating in the underarm/axillary area, a condition known as Hyperhidrosis. It is also a very effective "Gummy Smile" treatment. Botox treatment is available at our clinic in Chiswick, West London.

Repeated frowning or squinting can lead to the development of fine lines and wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes. It can be habit forming, so much that the frown lines become a permanent feature. Botox can be used to treat these muscles and temporary relax the muscles that cause these lines.

The Botox is administered through a series of very fine injections, the treatment itself is easily tolerated and takes around 15-20 minutes. Immediately after the treatment the area that was injected may be a little bit red, this usually subsides within a couple of hours. Unlike other treatments available in the UK, there is no downtime with Botox and results are visible within 2-5 days. Botox typically lasts between 3-4 months on the face and when used for Hyperhidrosis it can last for up to 6 months.

Botox works well together with dermal fillers to prevent the early signs of facial ageing, providing a youthful appearance.
