Excerpt from Grazia, July 2010, from Leah Hardy:

“Though when Dr Alan Kingdon showed me a picture of the back of my thighs prior to laser lipo last year, I joked he should have offered me anaesthetic beforehand, as this was the most painful part of the process”

“[On being a journalist tester] The only think I really would have paid for (if it didn’t feel like stealing bread from my children’s mouths) was the £2,400 laser lipo that got rid of my saddlebags. No wonder plastic surgeons call fat ‘liquid gold’.”

“Cosmetic Surgery Clinic’s Dr Alan Kingdon says he can tighten and de-flab my knees”

Elle Magazine - Elle Beauty - The New Laser

An excerpt from Elle Magazine:

“THE NEW LASER

Jenny Dickinson tests Advanced Laser Lipolysis at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic.

The treatment:

Apparently, I’m an ideal candidate for this type of surgery as I exercise often but just can’t shift the pockets of fat on my flanks. Dr Kingdon, my surgeon, makes tiny incisions to introduce a saline solution and laser, which ‘melts’ my fat. He then sucks out the liquefied fat and uses the laser again to help my skin tighten. It’s not painful, but I can feel the heavy pushing and pulling and Dr Kingdon forces the tiny tubes underneath my skin. I leave two hours later, leaking saline and wrapped in a girdle.

The results:

when I remove the girdle, I can see that my shaped has changed: the deposits of fat are gone. But, for two weeks, I’m badly bruised and the swelling means I’m actually bigger than before. Plus, I have to keeo the girdle on. I’m not in pain, but I’m uncomfortable. After six weeks, the swelling has reduced but I’m still quite tender. Three months on, the tenderness has gone and my shape is transformed.”

Macrolane Open Evening Success in London

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, a cosmetic surgery company based out of London with over 15 years of experience in helping people achieve their personal appearance goals, in association with Q-Med held a special opening event to introduce the newest technology in the field of breast augmentation: Macrolane. The evening was extremely successful with a large number of guests attending and enjoying the pleasures and charms of the evening. Attendees enjoyed delicious snacks and drinks as they discussed learned about this new method that is making headlines and changing the lives of people who seek cosmetic surgery to enhance their outer beauty. Men and women who attended the event were in high spirits and had a wonderful time.

Macrolane injections are bringing forth tremendous results when it comes to breast augmentation. Other forms of this type of cosmetic surgery can be extremely invasive and can leave patients with quite a bit of soreness and pain during recovery. Consequently, professionals have been looking for a method that will cause less pain and minimize risks of problems, while providing patients with the look and breast size they desire. Macrolane gel for many has become the answer.

Macrolane is a hyaluronic acid gel available in two different concentrations for injection into the breasts, calves or buttocks. The result, when used in the breasts, is a more full breast size and shape. Men are able to use Macrolane injections in their chest to create a full, muscular shape. The gel can also be used to fill in and cover up scaring from previous surgeries. Results from Macrolane injections are noticeable right away and the entire process is far less invasive or painful than traditional methods. Within 90 minutes a woman can go from dissatisfaction with her breast shape and size to feeling confident about her appearance. Side effects of the injections have been minimal and go away quickly.

People are excited about Macrolane and it is easy to see why. The technology is spreading and becoming more and more popular in Chiswick and throughout the country. The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic is excited to be in possession of this new technology and to utilize it to help people gain confidence and peace with their appearances.

This open evening event was endorsed by Macrolane. For those who unfortunately missed this spectacular night, we are happy to announce that another open evening will be held in mid-September. The date and time will be announced in the near future.
